Hume Labour Market Trends and Insights Forum - 9th November 2017
A recap of the day

Over 70 representatives from local education providers, employment support services and government departments attended the forum.
The forum held at the Hume Global Learning Centre had three key note speakers:
-
Ivan Neville - Branch Manager, Labour Market Research & Analysis Branch, Department of Employment
-
Chris James - Executive Director, NORTH Link
-
Charles Brass - Futurist & Chairman, The Futures Foundation
We also had Zubair Bhura, HR & Talent Acquisition Business Partner from TNT Express and Fernando Ianni, Principal from Roxburgh College who joined the key note speakers on the Q&A Panel.
The forum was another great example of the shared commitment across the levels of government, business and community to promote ‘Local Jobs for Local People’. It was jointly supported by Hume City Council, Hume Jobs and Skills Taskforce, Hume Employment & Learning Committee and the HWLLEN.
