HUME WHITTLESEA LLEN

The Sachin & Adam Show is a video podcast series that unpacks the learnings from some of the world’s best leaders of the recent past, current, and next generations. Our enthusiastic hosts (Sachin and Adam) are both former and current students at the University of Sydney and they both work in strategy consulting at Deloitte and Kantar. Through the fascinating interviews they conduct with other inspirational people both young and old, Sachin and Adam aim to raise awareness about the many different and exciting vocational pathways available. This video podcast series has been produced in partnership with the Hume Whittlesea LLEN and the Whittlesea Youth Commitment. Our aim is to connect students with career pathways and show them what’s possible post school.

Aaryan Shah – Media

Aaryan is a second year Media student at Macquarie University (Sydney NSW) and works at two radio stations – 2SER and 2HHH where he is the host of a show called the DRUM. When watching this episode, you will quickly learn that Aaryan is a mad sports fanatic amongst other things!

Mudith Jayasekara - Doctor

Mudith is a junior Doctor working in Sydney. He is a former athlete who represented Australia in the pole vault and is the founder of a not-for-profit organization called Ethical Education. https://www.ethicaleducation.com.au/

Mudith has recently (November 2021) been awarded a Rhodes Scholarship which is the oldest (first awarded in 1902) and arguably the most prestigious international scholarship program.

Harry Guinness

Harry Guinness has over 10 years’ experience in politics, foreign affairs, and public policy. Completing his education at Oxford University Harry has worked for the Australian Attorney-General’s (Countering Violent Extremism) and was policy and political adviser to Australia's Foreign Minister, the Hon Julie Bishop MP. He is the founding CEO of the think tank Blueprint Institute.

Sam Refshauge

Sam Refshauge - just like Tim Fung, graduated from University of NSW, with a Bachelor of Commerce. Until recently Sam was Executive director of batyr (a preventative mental health organization) and is currently working with Young Change Agents. Sam was youngest recipient of the Australian Graduate School of Management scholarship and shares more fantastic achievements in this episode.
